With each iteration of our Model, we plan to reduce the MAE and MAPE with an emphasis on expanding area of applicability.
Cibo Labs is currently working on a 2025 model for release in Q3. The model would take advantage of over 7500 calibration sites from accross Australia. The timeline for all our model releases (from 2018):
Pending Model 2025 (for release Q3):
Aims to completely redesign the model architecture, usesing 50% fewer parameters with GELU activation and batch normalisation across six hidden layers in a funnel architecture.
Running the same 10-fold cross validation as before, we see an improvement of MAE from 235kg/ha (current) to 113kg/ha (proposed) and a drop in MAPE from 25% down to 13%
