How to Access the Australian Feedbase Monitor as a Third Party

Explains the steps that must be completed by consultants/advisors to access client's AFM data via a third party subscription.

This article explains how advisors and consultants can access their client's Australian Feedbase Monitor (AFM) data and other farm benchmark reports.

Do you have an existing myMLA account? (Regardless of if your consultancy/advisory business has land or a registered PIC, please register to set up a myMLA account login).

This enables your account to be linked to the Cibo Labs platform to access a third party subscription and your client's shared data requests for the AFM.

1. Go to: Cibo Labs Website

If you have a current myMLA account, Sign in using the same email as your myMLA Account.

If you do not have a current myMLA account, Sign Up.

2. Creating your Cibo Labs profile

If you are new to the Cibo Labs platform, you will need to agree to our Privacy Policy and Licence Agreement.

If you are an existing user of our platform, you can activate a Third Party Subscription within your dashboard. Navigate to the 'Subscriptions' section on the lower right hand side of the page. Click 'Manage subscriptions'.

Scroll to the 'Add a Subscription - Third Party Subscription'. As a consultant or advisor, you will be entitled to a 30 day free trial.

4. Once your Trial has ended

Once your trial has ended, you can choose to purchase an annual subscription for either up to 25 client farms or up to 250 client farms.  Revisit the 'Manage Subscriptions' section in the right hand side of your dashboard. You can 'Add to Cart' to purchase your subscription choice that suits your business.

Proceed to the top of the page to the shopping cart to finalise payment for your subscription.

Note: If your client shares AFM data with you, you will not be able to receive this without having an active subscription for Third Party access.

When you have finalized payment, you will see your active subscriptions listed in your dashboard at the top of your 'Manage Subscriptions' page.

5. Accessing Client Data

There are two options to be able to access client data:

  • Creating a new farm on clients' behalf by clicking 'Create a new farm' in the top right corner of your dashboard. Follow remaining steps here
  • Your clients grant permission to share data with you. They must undertake the following steps in their account.

a) When a client who has an AFM subscription with Cibo Labs, they can choose to 'Share' their property data with you as a consultant/advisor via their own Cibo Labs dashboard. They must enter your email address and set your access duration for sharing their data. They have the ability to stop sharing at any point.

Below is a snapshot of the steps your clients will complete in their dashboard to approve the sharing of their property data to you as a third party to their business

b) You will receive an email from support@cibo.com.au advising a client has shared data via Cibo Labs.

c) Log in to your Cibo Labs dashboard - Cibo Labs Website Platform Sign In

You will see the following window appear on your dashboard.

You must either accept or decline the data share to be able to view that clients' data. The clients service data will become visible and listed on your dashboard.
