Logging in to myMLA
Creating a Farm
Logging in to myMLA, linking your LPA account & accessing the Australian Feedbase Monitor (AFM) tool.
The AFM can be accessed directly with an active myMLA account or by creating a new myMLA account.
Before the AFM can be used to locate individual properties or locations, you must link your LPA account with your myMLA account.
Once your have successfully linked your LPA account to your myMLA profile, you can access the AFM tool by clicking on the 'Tools & Calculators' option in the left hand column.
You can then select 'Australian Feedbase Monitor' in the bottom right hand corner.
Following the prompts, you will be taken to the Cibo Labs website where you will need to agree to our Privacy Policy and Licence Agreement.
You will then need to create your profile by adding your contact and company details.
Finally, ensure your LPA is linked to your myMLA account by following the prompts.
Note: You may need to click the 'Refresh' option to sync our platform to your myMLA account and recognise your linked LPA account.
Your linked Property Identification Codes (PICs) should then appear in your dashboard, ready to set up with the Australian Feedbase Monitor (AFM).
Creating a Farm for the Australian Feedbase Monitor (AFM)
1. Each farm will need to be created, which requires you to select your PIC (or the first PIC on your account) and click 'Set up farm'. You will then need to provide:
- farm details (e.g. name of your farm or another preferred description)
- location (i.e. the physical address of the farm).
It is important to complete all location details, including suburb and postcode, before proceeding.
2. Upon entering these details, your dashboard map will geolocate to the area associated with your farm's address. The map on the dashboard will identify land parcels, highlighting them in yellow.
Click on each land parcel associated with your selected PIC (farm). Clicking with the left mouse key) will select the land parcels. Once the land parcels are selected, drag the blue tear drop icon to the location of your front gate, then select 'Finish setup'.
You can then choose to set up additional farms that are under the same PIC or return to the AFM dashboard. If there are further PICs linked to your LPA account, these can also be set up following the steps outlined above. If all PICs have been set up, you can start using the tool.
